BIRDSVILLE RACES
Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September 2007
Join the members and friends of the Birdsville Race Club at one of the greatest events in Queensland's Outback, the Birdsville Races. The twelve race program features top horses from all over Australia competing for the XXXX Gold Birdsville Cup. Get in early to secure a campsite and enjoy all the entertainment in the lead up to the big weekend. The races culminate with a giant auction on the Saturday night raising money for the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Attracting between 5000 and 6000 visitors from all over the world, the Birdsville Races 2007 is an event that you'll be talking about for years to come.

TIBOOBURRA GYMKHANA / RODEO
29th and 30th September 2007
This year the Gymkhana/Rodeo will be held on the Labour Day long weekend, Saturday the 29th and Sunday 30th September 2007.
Gymkhana & Rodeo events on Saturday, dance with a live band (the band is yet to be decided), Sunday Rodeo, mutton busting and novelty events for the whole family.
