On the 27th and 28th February 2012 the Broken Hill City Council will host the 2012 Western Division Councils NSW Annual Conference – Infront Outback, at Broken Hill Civic Centre.
The Conference will be the platform for councillors and general managers from all Councils in the Western Region of NSW to gather to discuss current and emerging issues facing their Councils. The Conference will attract over 100 delegates from across 13 Shire Councils in Western NSW.
The Conference will provide delegates, sponsors and exhibitors with an effective marketing and communications platform within this area of Local Government.

Dorothy the Dinosaur's Beach Party is the stompy-wompy show full of super sandy songs that will fill your day with sunshine! Dorothy and her friends, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Fairy Clare and Henry the Octopus, are joined by sensational singers and dancers, Clare Dee and The Dance-A-Lots, in their dazzling beach party outfits! With your favourite Wiggly songs, such as Can You (Point Your Fingers and Do The Twist?), Having Fun at the Beach and Monkey Dance, the surf's up for this wacky wave of fun! On Friday 30th March 2012, cars and bikes will be on public display from 7.30am at the Broken Hill Musicians Club - Car Park. Cars and bikes will start to progressively depart from 8.30am 

Event Information: This will be an awesome experience – driving/riding their 100 years young Veteran automobile/motorcycle for 18 days – 4,100km with 2 rest days – 20 days “Across Australia” –Perth, York, Southern Cross, Kalgoorlie, Norseman, Balladonia, Cocklebiddy, Eucla, Nullarbor, Ceduna, Kimba, Peterborough, Broken Hill, Wilcania, Cobar, Dubbo, Bathurst, Penrith, Sydney.

Agfair is held at the Broken Hill Racecourse and hosts around 300 exhibitors. Participants and exhibitors come from all parts of Australia and up to 10,000 patrons have attended the field days in the past. Exhibitors display and sell a full range of goods and equipment for town and country, and the most up-to-date information and research relating to pastoral business is also available.

The pavilions include the very popular Woolshed Pavilion which hosts cooking and gardening demonstrations, fashion parades, dancing and musical entertainment as well as a wide number of special interest exhibitors selling food, produce, clothing and jewellery just to name a few.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service Women's Auxiliary dinner dance will be held at the Broken Hill Civic Centre on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
