Broken Hills most exciting annual event is staged at the Broken Hill Racecourse two weeks before Easter each year. Thousands of visitors and locals converge at the picturesque bush setting at the local racecourse for the annual St Pats Races. NEXT RACE DAY is Saturday 17th March 2011.

Race day offers a range of attractions for patrons wishing to experience a great day at the races.

The Club offers a number of options from reserved picnic sites to fully catered airconditioned marquees. Patrons can be assured of a fabulous day of racing and social interaction.

The St Pats Race Club boasts the largest membership of any country race club in NSW and is a "not to be missed" event.

We strongly advise booking ahead when planning your visit for the St Pats weekend to ensure your race day requirements are met.

The town is buzzing with live entertainment at the local clubs during the St Pats weekend and a host of events in the week leading up to race day.


Directions: The St Pats Office is situated at the intersection of Crystal & Oxide Streets, at the nothern end of the carpark of the BH Railway Station.

The race meeting is conducted at the Broken Hill Racecourse which is located 4kms north of the city on Racecourse Road adjacent to the Broken Hill Golf Club.
